Templewood Services acquires LCC Support Services
Templewood Services, a services company supplying cleaning, hygiene, washroom and security services to blue chip clients across the UK, acquired LCC Support Services based in Brentwood Essex. The acquisition brings together two big names in the industry, being Harvey Soning, Chairman of Templewood Services, and Bob Vincent, who stays on as Non-Executive Chairman of LCC. Both Soning and Vincent will remain actively involved in the business for the foreseeable future. With the acquisition, the combined businesses will employ over 3 000 staff across the United Kingdom, along with 15 000 staff across Africa and the UAE.
Templewood Services was founded in 2000 by Harvey Soning. In June 2017, Excellerate Services, a services company with its head office in Johannesburg, South Africa with a turnover of £10,6 billion acquired a majority stake in Templewood Services. Templewood has since the acquisition, been focusing on implementing Excellerate’s technology platforms, as well as extensive IP, in order to ensure the best possible service to clients. LCC was founded in 1997 by Bob Vincent, who has over the past 21 years, built up a successful cleaning business, providing services across the UK.
The total turnover of the new group is expected to exceed £40m per annum.
