Teresa Bond

Teresa began working with Metzger at the start of 2020 as Executive Assistant, supporting the entire Metzger team. She has a wealth of experience as an office professional, having provided support to board members and senior executives in a range of sectors.

In addition, Teresa has worked with senior teams on business acquisitions and disposals and has been involved in due diligence and company research, as well as many activities of a head office function.

Currently, Teresa assists Metzger Business Search with administrative support and project work, and occasionally steps in to provide office assistance to Metzger Search & Selection.

What is the best part of your role?

I enjoy the diversity of the role and the people that I meet and work with. I feel that I am constantly kept on my toes as often the work is quite fast-paced, and I enjoy this.

Can you name one person who has really inspired you and why?

I draw inspiration from many people, both those close to me and those in the public eye. I have a natural desire to improve my skills and knowledge and push myself to do a little better. For that I would have to thank my father, who had a very tough childhood with poor parenting. He overcame many barriers to provide a solid and happy home for my mother, siblings and myself and instilled in us all integrity and a strong work ethic.

What do you do when you’re not working?

I love to cook, keep fit through dance and walking and practice piano playing (I am not very good). I also love the culture, travel and cuisine of France and take as many opportunities as possible to explore these.
